No special preparation is required for your data measurement sessions. We will analyze your form based on the data from your outdoor running sessions (track or road) at your own convenient time or place. Plus, you can wear the shoes you use for everyday training or racing, so it is possible to analyze truly realistic data.
Measure your form, easily and accurately
By attaching five small and lightweight sensors to the pelvis, thighs and feet, your movement is precisely measured within specific segments of the stride cycle via LEOMO’s Motion Performance Indicators (MPIs). Those advanced metrics measure the rear and forward kicking angles of the legs, the thigh swing speed, the efficiency of stride turnover and the overall lateral stability of the runner’s stride.
Motion data offers insights for improving your form
Analyzing this data not only reveals the difference between your current running form and your optimal running form, but it can also indicate how to improve "feet flow," "lower back," "midfoot ground contact," and "forefoot ground contact." It is possible to evaluate the coaching directions that you often hear in running — such as "ground contact time" or “full hip extension” — as numerical values in an easy-to-understand manner.
The feedback we provide is not just a set of data, but content that can be used in training immediately, including how to improve asymmetries and weaknesses and how to enhance workouts.
